Jan Seva Lab, inside Prasanna Poly Clinic, has modern analysers for routine blood and urine tests. You can give your sample right after your consultation, and most routine reports are ready the same day.
50% discount on all blood tests for BPL card holders — every Sunday.
Which tests can I get done at Jan Seva Lab?
The lab handles the tests that family doctors and specialists ask for most often: complete blood count (CBC), blood sugar (fasting, post-meal, random and HbA1c), thyroid profile, lipid profile, liver and kidney function tests, and urine and stool examinations.
During fever season, tests for dengue, malaria and typhoid are also done here. Health check-up packages that combine several of these tests are available. Please call the clinic to ask about a specific test before you come.
What are the lab timings, and is it open on Sunday?
Jan Seva Lab is open on all days from 7:30 AM to 2 PM and from 5:30 PM to 10 PM. On Fridays it is open from 7:30 AM to 2 PM only. There is no holiday on Sunday.
The early 7:30 AM opening helps patients who need a fasting sample, such as fasting blood sugar or a lipid profile, to give it before breakfast and still reach work or college on time.
Why get tested at the same clinic as your doctor?
Because the lab is inside the clinic, you can give your sample right after your consultation, without a second trip. Most routine reports are ready the same day, so the doctor can review them and adjust treatment quickly.
After a consultation, the doctors rely on tests done at our own lab. Reports from outside or online labs advised after the consultation may not be considered. This keeps results consistent and easy to compare from one visit to the next.
